Blog 41 - Why I think my argument is compelling.

I’m not really sure how to explain why my argument is compelling. From the definitions of ethos, pathos and logos, I was able to gather, that is really the rhetoric of the paper that makes the argument compelling. So I cannot really say my argument is compelling, it’s the structure of my paper that will make it compelling. However, I’ll try to explain why I think my argument is compelling, or will be compelling.
I believe my argument is compelling for a number of reasons. Firstly, I believe my argument is compelling because it affects me. Most of the shows on television that show too much sex on television are aimed at people our age.
I also believe that my argument is compelling because I believe in what I write about. I believe that the amount of skin shown on television nowadays is downright ridiculous. While in some cases, the use of sex on shows serves to strengthen the message being passed, in most cases, it’s not.
I plan to use the article I found about how MTV’s ‘Skins’ to back up my story and make my article more credible. The use of a published article I believe will help me seem more knowledgeable on the subject. I am more excited to write the paper because this is more informal. I think I am better at this kind of writing s compared to writing a lengthy 7-page research paper.
Hopefully, I will be able to develop a interesting article. Only time will tell.
